Information:
On Tuesday, August 28, 2018, Green Lake County, like other counties, experienced severe weather and heavy rain. On Thursday, State and Federal Officials surveyed damage and investigated what caused that damage. According to Emergency Management Director Gary Podoll, two tornado’s touched down in Green Lake County and several instances of damaging straight lines winds occurred including hail.

One tornado occurred near Puckaway Rd. west of the Village of Marquette and was scored as an EF-1. The second tornado occurred near Sth.73 and Cth.H east of Marquette and was scored as an EF-0.

The area continues to recover from this major storm.
