On Tuesday, March 8th, 2016, at approximately 5:10pm, the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office received information concerning a possible suicidal subject. The subject, known to local law enforcement as a 19 year old Green Lake male, was reported to be armed and confined in a home at the Coachlite Trailer Park. The trailer park is located on Sth.23 at Forest Ridge Rd. in the Township of Brooklyn, Green Lake County.
Deputies arriving on scene attempted contact with no result. Neighbors adjacent to the home were asked to evacuate and a parimiter was established. The Green Lake County Combined Tactical Unit was called including the Winnebago County Bearcat. After several hours of attempts to locate the subject to determine his welfare the decision was made, at approximately 8:25pm, to discontinue tactical operations. The subjects welfare is to be determined by other means. No citizens or officers were injured as a result of this call. This call was responded to by the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Markesan Police, Green Lake County Combined Tactical Unit, Winnebago County Sheriff’s Bearcat, and Green Lake EMS. |
