Information:
On 11/10/19 at about 10:43am the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a hunter down with a possible broken leg in the White River Marsh west of Berlin. Emergency Medical Responders were paged, as well as Sheriff’s Office staff and Department of Natural Resources staff. A 40 year Omro male was located and subsequently transported by ambulance for treatment. The male is expected to survive.
The fall sustained was in conjunction with the use of an elevated tree stand. While enjoying the outdoors please use the appropriate safety equipment and check the straps and securing devices on all elevated platforms. Good luck to all those enjoying the outdoors.
