ALTERNATE CARE COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)
Green Lake County has a vacancy for an Alternate Care Coordinator within the Children and Families Unit of the Department of Health and Human Services. This is a part-time position, with starting pay ranging from $24.68 to $28.05.
The individual in this position is responsible for recruiting, conducting, and monitoring foster home licensing, conducting kinship care and kinship care conversion studies, home studies and annual reviews, and completing annual subsidized guardianship reviews. This individual is also responsible for providing case management and support to the aforementioned families; interviewing children, family members, and collateral contacts; conducting home and/or child custody studies, and as well as step-parent adoptions studies and Inter-state compact studies and case monitoring.
Successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or closely related field that meets the certification requirements for a “Social Worker”. Must be certified or certifiable as a Social Worker in Wisconsin. Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
