Information:

Citizens have commented on increased patrols run on selected pre-planned days within Green Lake County. Patrols have been run via the National “Click-it-or-Ticket” campaign, also incorporating drug dogs and a local drug interdiction program.

The May 23rd afternoon deployment, Sth.23, Sth.49, Cth.A within the Township of Brooklyn resulted in the following law enforcement actions:

72 Traffic Stops
63 Citations (56 for Seatbelt Violations)
19 Warnings
1 Misdemeanor Drug Arrest

The June 6th afternoon deployment, City of Berlin, Sth.91, Cth.F, Sth.49(North and South of Berlin) resulted in the following law enforcement actions:

117 Traffic Stops
104 Citations (74 for Seatbelt Violations)
43 Warnings
4 Drug Arrests (1 Felony)
2 Warrant Arrests

“Click-it-or-Ticket” High Visibility Patrols and drug interdictions will continue throughout the Summer and into the Fall. These programs are paid for primarily through grant funding.  Assistance for the patrol deployments has been provided by the Wisconsin State Patrol including their K-9, City of Berlin Police, Waushara County Sheriff’s Office, City of Omro Police K-9, and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office K-9.
