Green Lake County is accepting applications for Deputy Director of the Department of Health & Human Services. Serves as the program manager and supervisor of units assigned by the Director and/or Health & Human Services Board. Administers and monitors all personnel matters within the Department; provides overall assistance to the Director in all phases of agency operations and assumes full responsibility in the Director's absence. Starting annual (2012) salary: $69,386 to $76,079 dependent upon experience. Excellent fringe benefits. A Master's Degree in Human Services, Social Work or Administration with considerable experience in administration or supervision; or a Bachelor's Degree and a combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.. Additionally, it is important to have some knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and be knowledgeable in all areas of Human Services. Green Lake County is seeking a half-time (20 hour/week) LTE within the Aging & Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC), serving Adams, Green Lake, Marquette and Waushara counties. Provides Information and Assistance to individuals calling into or visiting the ADRC. Minimally a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or closely related professional field is required with at least 2 years experience working with the elderly and/or disable is preferred. Must be certified/certifiable as a Social Worker in Wisconsin. Must be certified in AIRS (Alliance of Information and Referral System) or be willing to obtain certification. Wage: $20.27/hour.
